I upgraded from a 49cc to a 250cc scooter.
Wanted something that would keep up with traffic.

I purchased my 2006 Diamo Velux 250 last week. It was a demo model so it was already broken in with 275 miles on the odometer. Because of this, I got it for half the price of a new one. So far, it has been a joy to ride. The engine runs great and it has good acceleration. I haven´t had it in the rain yet so I don´t know if the roof will do any good at all.
I noticed that the gas gauge is not very accurate and that the speedometer needle flucuated to much. I seem to be getting about 65 miles to the gallon. I replaced the original CD/Radio with a higher line unit. I also installed glove compartment doors, a clock and a cup holder. There have been a few minor maintenance issues, but not out of the ordinary. Overall, it´s a good bike.
