This bike is truly the perfect beginners bike | ||||||
| I bought a 2006 Suzuki s40 used to start my foray into motorcycling. This was the perfect bike for me. ´Was´ is past tense, because I didn´t keep it long. I rode it for 1000 miles and it became time for me to move on. I am a tall woman, 5´ 10´ and close to 200lbs. The bike was a little small, and although it got me where I needed to go, it didn´t do it with ease. I traded up to a 2009 Suzuki C50 which is much better suited for my size, and is a better performing bike. As a starter bike, definitely go with the s40. But don´t plan on keeping it for more than a year, unless you are a tiny person. |
