Good bike if you like winding roads or comuting to work 1 town away, but not the best for long trips.

I purchased this bike new back in 2006 from a dealer, and the bike sat in the showroom for 4 years so I got a good deal on it at 1 mile. I have driven it to the coast from NV multiple times with no problems. If you are a rider who enjoys winding roads and the ability to hug them at higher speeds but don’t particularly go on long trips then I suggest this bike. The V twin is a great motor with a lot of power. The bike is very light and has a lower profile which makes it perfect for the winding roads, but long highway trips do start to hurt your butt a tad with the stock seat. The bike has over 5k miles and not a single problem, keep up the maintenance oil changes and gear oil every 1k miles or after a long trip.

Pros: Bike handles great on winding roads and sports a lot of power in this 800cc V-Twin. Bike has shown to be very durable with regular maintenance, as well as very dependable. 4 gallons will get you about 127 miles, and has no gas gage. Drive shaft is solid with no play. Motor does not vibrate, or ping.

Cons: Not comfortable for long distant rides; painful butt after about 110 miles. Motor can be hard to start if it sits for more than 5 days. This bike does not like to wake up; problem appears to be carburetor issue, but not sure. When I bought the bike at the dealer they had to clear it out because it was having idling issues due to gas sitting in it for a long time. This could be only an isolated problem with my bike due to the above problem. The windshield does not fit well on the bike, so I took it off due to vibration issues and it looked a bit lame in my opinion.
