After I got my license I firts Bought a worndown Suzuki gsx550es. It was light, easy to handle and it gave me the first year a lot of fun. But as the age of the bike grow, so did the wear and tear. So I deceided to look around for a new bike: It became the gsf600s.

My dealer was a good listener, he didn´t over or underestimate my riding capacities, he ask the right questions and put me on the bandit.
I was impressed by the handling and the brisk reaction to the gas. Steering on a Bandit is a pleasure. It takes your everywhere, fast. Not circuittrack fast but faster than everything with more than 2 wheels. within 4 seconds you can exceed 60mph (100km/h) and if you like it easely reaches 130mph (230 km/h).
It is stabile on the highway and the fairing keeps most of the windpressure out up to 80/90mph)It´s not the most economical bike you can buy, but the carb´s don´t suck up more gas than 1 liter every 20 km´s unless you like to go full throttle.

It hasn´t got any drama packed, but it delivers loads of fun. It is very reliable and it´s a bargain, even new (6990 euro´s for a new 650S)
the down side of this bike is clear, it´s a bit a friend for everybody, it hasn´t got loads of character. But hey, who care´s. It´s not the image that makes the fun, it´s you riding your bike.

my excuses for any mistakes, the fact that I´m dutch will probably take it´s toll.
