Just bought it 3 weeks ago.I am enjoying it to the fullest | ||||||
| I have had my XB12ss for about 3 weeks now and am enjoying it fully. The break in period seems like it will never end as it has to be till 800 km.AS I ride it more and more it gets more power and pickup as the engine wears in. I havent had a long ride as of yet because of shitty weather but soon I hope. I really like the handling and power in this bike ,it seems like it urges you to go faster and faster it the turns,and grips the road solidly. I cant wait to try it on a race track. I also get allot of complements on the sunset orange color.I also get a kick out of people whose heads do a second turn at the bike because it looks great,I am pretty sure they are not looking at me .I was it trafic yesterday and a lady in a car in the opposite lane was stopped also ,she actually got out of her car to take a picture .The bike has started great in all kinds of colder weather and has worked great so far the only compaint I have so far is the mirrors are rendered useless by the huge thumping 1200 cc v-twin . It is a shaking blur , but it is a price I willingly pay for that amout of power . |
