I like the bike, but its a bank and yank. | ||||||
I´ve had my 2003 since new. Its been trouble free. I think it is pefect as a commuter, anything over 45 mins and i get not so limber. I am 30yr old 210lb and 6ft. Height of the seat is good. The suspension i have set hard and if you hit something you know about it. The seating does not allow to duck down, the back seat works for my wife. Shes the typical skinny blonde. But she def wants a cruising bike next time. The transmission is clunky, its the worst part, 6 speeds is lovely, but I just don´t get a positive feel out of it. The engine power is more than sufficient and it looks agressive without incurring the hideous insurance surcharges. I would like the SV1000 but initially I had trouble handling the 650. IT absolutely shines on the dunks and turns It feels at 45 mph what my 750 nighthawk felt like a 25. I enjoy how my thighs tuck into the tank and the bike just goes. I´d say buy one. |
