My first encounter of this fabulous bike!!!

A friend of mine bought an accident damaged fj 1200 , bent forks buckled wheel and dented tank it was still a runner but very rough.
He asked if i would help him get it back on the road and i agreed, work began by a complete strip down the parts were bought through the trader and yamaha .
7 months found us in possesion of a very nice fj , i at the time rode a cbr1000 we rode most of the uk and parts of france and spain.
I found myself growing more jelous of this bike especialy as i was having to work my cbr hard to stay with it, the roll on power was unbeliveable it was more comfortable and economical i had to have one so i sold the cbr and bought an fj i have never looked back,(only life savers of course)so easy to ride and handle so comfortable so bloody good .If you want a good buget tourer you won´t go far wrong with one of these
