Mister Honda too bad that this model is not on the catalogue anymore(1999-2002).

Look is still actual, even if performances are not comparable to modern bikes, italian or austrian ones in same category. This bike provides good sensations and feeling, torque comes at low revs (from 3000 till 6000rpm). Lack of power though, but voluntary engine which doesn´t require lot of maintenance. Braking is little light, first change the braking pads for better ones like Brembo, it will break a bit stronger. Put a NGK Iridium DPR9EIX-9(colder)with electrical anti-interference wire. Replace the air filter by the K and N HA-6505 which fits also the more recent FMX 650. Enlarge the air and gasoline pipes in order to get some additional cv and torque.Work a little the carburator, change the oil for full racing synthetic, add some Pro Boost in the tank, then fit a pair of Battlax B45, turn the contact on, then you will have a very funny Scambler ;) | |
