RODE A V5 2,500 MILES THROUGH 7 NORTHWESTERN STATES. | ||||||
| I´ve just returned from riding my V5 through 7 Northwestern states, across the Cascade Range and the Rockies, down to Custer´s Battlefield, to Deadwood S. Dakota, then to the Mississippi at Minneaoplis. I replaced a drive belt in Mid-Montana (there was a stocking dealer with parts when I needed one) and otherwise has no problems. Carried clothes, cameras etc. in a duffle, topcase, saddlebags and an improvised tank bag. Got 71 mpg average. This is a solid bike, an example of what the Chinese can do if a company is willing to pay to have it done right. Factory has stocking dealers, parts on hand, etc. |
