A used GSF1200 with a few add-ons is a dependable and great bargain (too bad Suzuki has not continued them). Only the upcoming in-line 6 Stratosphere might get me off this bike. | ||||||
I bought a used 2001 Bandit with ~9000 miles on it. It now has ~17000. Absolutely zero trouble. Mine came with a good fork clamp, some carb rejetting work, and a Yosh carbon pipe. Just what is need for a little more zip. All I have added is a small windscreen. I am almost 59 years old. Been there/ done that with almost a dozen bikes. This is a bike you can simply ride and enjoy again and again. No fuss. Plenty of grunt. Not for squids. An absolute bargain used! When you let off the gas the compression is so great that the brakes may last forever! |
