I´ve been riding scooters since 1966. This scooter met all my expectations of riding fast and short week end and day trips. Fast and powerful and very Italian in style. | ||

My decision was to purchase the Vespa 250 ie but when I researched the Aprilia Sportcity 250 ie I found they shared the same power plant. The Vespa all metal; the Aprilia mostly plastic with the difference of a Dollars 750.00 savings! My first two weeks I rode 1750 miles. No dissatisfaction in any sense of the ride. When stopped at red lights others asked me questions and gave compliments. When riding on the Interstate, keeping up with traffic @ 70 mph was no stress. This scooter handles great in traffic but not made for long cross country touring. Yes, this is a Rider´s scooter! I really do always look forward to starting it up and going for a ride. |
