Loads of power, smooth riding, shaft drive, long range | ||||||
The V65 Sabre makes tons of power and 20 years later is still a blast to ride. Throw on some soft bags and its a fine sports tourer. Large fuel tank gives more than enough range. Fuel, engine tempture, gear indicator and clock gauges keep you well informed. Triple disk brakes handle stopping well. Antidive forks and adjustable front and rear suspension take care of different riding needs. Shaft drive keeps the maintence down, yet delivers power well. This is a big bike and not a sport bike. The V65 Sabre is more at home on the open road than the twisties. Yet if riden with respect it really can hold it´s own for a big bike. The power delivery of the big V-Four is just fantastic even after twenty years. |
