Review of the 1997 Triumph Sprint 900:best bike I ever had |

I have this bike since june last year. I was dubbing to buy this bike or a TDM. Once I made the testdrive, only a short one, I was convinced. The bike is a big bike and not a lightweigt. But you dont want a lightweight to take you to your workt on motorways. When I had made the testdrive I went home and sold my gsxr750 directly the same afternone, the day after I bought this Truimph. It is not wise to buy in a hurry, I know bud I should go on a holliday with a friend that same week. So I put al the luggage on my bike, the sleepingbags, tent and beds al on my bike. We went to the German Ijfel. And in the Ijfel you find..... The Nordschleife.... Every motorsports enthousiatic knows this legendary track. Funny enough I saw and English Bloke with the same Spirt 900, and he went round the trac, with al his luggage. Easy as that. Of course for the first time I did wel, not a hero but is is good enough, the bottom power pulls you throu every curve. In the end it dousnt have to much power but enough to go round. A few weeks ago I was in a hurry and crached some guy on his moped. I went down pretty bad, mij fairing is compltely wrecked. Bud the engine and the rest was stil good. So now I am building it up in a naked way more like the speedtripple. No idea how I´m gonne like that, bud the Sprint is a great bike. |
