Love this bike!

This is the first motorcycle I´ve had in over 30 years. I bought it because it is relatively lightweight, fun, highly visible (yellow)and competitively priced. It also has an upright seating position which I favor. After putting about 1,000 miles on this bike, I appreciate it even more. The only two downsides of this bike are its exhaust sound and its feeble horn. I replaced the stock exhaust- which to me sounded like a lawnmower- with a Holeshot High Pipe and went from lawnmower hell to the Hallelujia Chorus heaven...and gained considerable horsepower and torque in the process. I also replaced the tinny horn with a Stebel Nautilus Air horn and got 139 decibels of ´freight train commin´ right at ya´ noise when errant SUV drivers with cell phones plugged in their ears try to cut me off. The overall strength of this bike has to be it´s low-end torque. Carving corners and accelerating out of them can easily be done at low and mid rpm´s and that leaves lots of room for error for beginning and intermediate riders. | |
