Nice looking bike and just the right size for a beginner or someone who doesn´t care about moving to a larger bike.

I started riding about four months ago; taking a motorcycle safety course first and then deciding to purchase the 2005 Yamaha Virago 250. It seemed the right size for starting out. I sat on the larger Yamaha´s and felt a bit intimidated. This bike has turned out great. At first the shifting was a bit awkward but as more miles were put on and more knowledge gained, the shifting became more fluid. The brakes are excellent, especially for beginners. You learn in the safety course to apply both front and back brake and this bike delivers beautifully. There is a great deal of comfort knowing these brakes are going to bring you to a stop quickly when properly applied. This is a fun bike to ride and I highly recommend it, but I have to say I´m already looking to purchase a bigger bike. But if you´re just starting in this wonderful pasttime or you don´t desire a larger bike, this motorcycle is hard to beat. | |
