Not a bad little bike, rides kinda rough, doesn´t handle too well. That´s what makes it so cool!!!

This was the first bike I had ever owned. Mine was in pretty good shape, I added new sprockets, changed the fork seals, did some minor cosmetic work. I paid Dollars 900 for it, so it was just a cheap bike to learn on. It had plenty of power (I was only 160 lbs when I bought it) and for a beginner, the weight was very manageable. It cruised fairly well on the highway, after changing the front and back sprockets I was able to lower my rpm to about 5000 at 70 mph. Handling left someting to be desired, but for a solid steel bike built over 30 years ago, I thought it was alright. The coolest thing was all the compliments I got. It seemed that everyone remembered this bike back when it was the fastest production bike in the world, so it started a lot of conversations. I blew the engine after 80 000 miles and ended up parting it out, but over all it was a perfect starter bike with a classic charm. | |
