Review of the 1986 Yamaha FZ 750:The engine was faster than the rest |

The frame felt like plasticine, providing thrills in ruts, with each wheel trying to follow its own path. The engine was very responsive, with 5 valves, making it more difficult for an amateur to maintain. The wheels were not standard, so modern tires were lacking (I owned it in the mid-1990s).. A motor more for a closed track than for the city. | ||
I bought the bike slightly scuffed, so I only left the upper part of the fairing. Despite the small and oddly shaped windshield, it served its purpose admirably, as I realized after removing it. The biggest problem was the tires; there weren`t any modern ones available in this size, so riding the limp, fast bike in the wet was a challenge. |
