2,500 KMS IN 3 DAYS, DIRT , RAIN AND WARMTH, NOTHING MORE COULD BE ASKED

As an aussie biker of over 30 years, this bike can do it all ( almost! ).In a recent run to our MotoGp @ Phillip Island in Victoria, the bike handled all conditions with aplomb. It is the most comfortable bike I have had ( except for an 81 CX 500 shadow.) Thru the Australian Alps at far more than license loss speeds in the ´tow´ of a Duke 996 nothing was lost. Fuel consumption was about 6 litres /100km with much hard riding. The appeal of a naked bike, wider handlebars and mirrors that show more than your armpit is retro at it´s best. This seat is great, nothing that a stretch on the footpegs for a few minutes will not help after many kms in the saddle. A 919 is a bulletproof charger and in this guise all the power is where you want it, not in the stratosphere of sports bikes. And the best part of this bike is that they are not too popular in Oz so we can get some terrific pricing. | |
