Super fun bike with power to spare. Awesome acceleration combined with lighter weight and comfort allows for exilerating rides.

The GSXR 1100 is basically the platform for the Hayabusa. Same 3 pot Tokiko brakes, same exhaust, same wheelbase/tire size, same riding posture, similar frame. The Busa, fastest production motorcycle in the world is obviously faster due to fuel injection, valves and bore, faring design and 6speed. It´s only lighter than the 1100 by 6-8lbs. too. Basically it´s the same story as The Fiero and the Corvette, the Mini Cooper and the BMW. GM had to lose the Fiero due to the fact it performed at par with the vette. Can´t make any money selling Fiero´s. The BMW 3 series..it´s flagship, couldn´t lose the Cooper in the slalom. So what did they do? Well, GM ended up buying Pontiac (the builders of the Fiero), and BMW ended up buying Cooper. No surprise Suzuki stopped making the 1100. I love the GSXR 1100 because it gives me something close to a Busa that I can afford. 9/10 posers uh, I mean riders don´t have the cahones it takes to redline the GSXR 1000, 1100 or Busa anyway. | |
