The Zoomer is a cool scooter that blurs the lines between step through moped, naked bike and off roader. Not as powerful as some mopeds, but plenty of appeal from its attractive frame and chunky wheels. | ||||||

I had mine imported (to NZ) and tuned up by Scootling, apparently the mopeds in Japan are not restricted in power so it was a matter of getting this one to move quicker. The engine has responded well and still seems reliable and smooth. The obvious use of space in this relatively big body means that it still feels light, and not a burden for the engine even though it would not keep up with a Dio or Yamaha Jog. It doesn´t matter though because this Zoomer is staunchly cool with the bigger wheels and robust design. I can´t fathom why Honda left that space under the seat, it should either be closed for weather proof storage or not there at all. The ride is smooth around the roads close to me, although I have not tried it over potholes or kerbs and don´t feel the need to. This is a city cruiser as far as I am concerned and has met all my expectations of Honda perfectly. |
