So close to being an absolutely wonderful bike . Had Kawasaki addressed the charging failures I would have had far greater confidence in the Kawasaki Co . Design flaws should be addressed with recalls much like the auto industry . One owner suggested that the drive shaft maintenance problems could have been eliminated had the front portion been lubed with crankcase oil and the rear with the rear end lube . I have performed mearly all suggested maintenance on mine and love the bike except for the atrocious gear ratios . Had I been the CEO of Kawasaki I would have relieved anyone involved in gearing calculations of their duties . The VN 750 could have been a wonderful highway bike rather than the ´ dragster ´ type they created . 3,000 RPM in 5th. gear at 45MPH is absurd !!!!! LIke so many companies they keep cranking out new models without perfecting anything . | |
