I´m 48 been out of the bike riding bussiness for 2o years I´m over 300 lbs. and I didn´t need a monster bike but I wanted one that I could ride from 20 to 100 miles with out any trouble I´ve added a windshield to knock off the body blast an engine gaurd to mount cruiser pegs, saddle bags and a rear rack so you can carry something but this bike will carry me and cruise at 75 no questions asked it will go faster but the speed limit says no! I have cruised at 85 in a pack before for 20-30 miles also with out any trouble too. Note: I also have at 600 mile service installed 20-50 mobil 1 and a k/n airfilter. it cruises nice but I guess a bigger bike (1100cc) would have been nice too! or a (1300cc) or a (1700cc) When is big enough big enough the 650 custom does the job and more left over and it didn´t empty my wallet till I started adding on the accessories, it fills the bill for me you decide for yourself when to stop on size. | |
