I bought my scooter and was very sceptical towards it,as i am over 6 feet tall and weigh 110 kilo´s. My first worry was windy days, which do affect the ride, but be sensible, and you are fine.I Had a Honda vt500c before this and thought the scooter would be snail slow. How wrong i was,its agile, and nippy, both in town traffic, and on open roads. I have been 70m.p.h. on it and it still wanted to carry on. Sensible riding, steady acceleration, will return 80+ m.p.g.,but if you flick the throttle sharply,it will do less,of course. I fitted a Maxxis front tyre and it gave me a lot of confidence compared to the standard Michelin pilot which was worn strangely. I also fitted HH rated sintered ceramic brake pads front and rear, which with the Nissin calipers as standard, transformed its brakes, which were good even though worn out. I will always use these from now on.. Riding is comfortable,on short runs but ache after 80 miles or so.Overall,i would recomend the scooter,to any one,and underseat holds 2 full face helmets or lots of food if your shopping.. Go on try one!.. | |
