Great bike for price, gets better with age.

many have talked of the hard seat, I agreed... until it started to break in at about 4000 miles. at first it was painful, now, not a problem for an hour. I tried the Corbin seat, but changes your ability to move around and changes your steering. Also took out carb restrictor and increased jet size, and it screams, great acceleration, better than my BMW R1100S. light, turns on a dime, great, responsive breaks, engine smoothing out also around 5000 miles as it slowly breaks in, since the service always calls for Motorex Synthetic. Make sure to get Supermoto specific tires, which warm up on a lighter bike. I love the Continentals, and recommend them. reliability has been great, had to replace the mirrors, but the new ones seem more sturdy, also replaced a faulty speedometer module. Other than than, at 7000 miles, the drive train feels like new. The Pirelis for off road were worthless, so only use street tires. I´d recommend it. | |
