| I bought mine back in Oct 04 and have 5000+ miles on it now. Longest trip so far is about 800 miles. I have re-jetted, drilled out some baffles and sent the seat to Saddleman for some gel install. I also have mounted some Moto-Sport panniers and heated grips. This bike makes a great lightweight touring mount. Plenty of power and will run all day at 70mph easy.. I would like heavier fork springs, but thats coming. Bike is rock solid reliable, gets good milage (50+mpg) and is easy to live with. The stock Bridgestones are terrible, get some Pirelli´s or Metzler´s. |
