I´ve been riding sport bikes since 1975 and always had the need for speed, now I need to touch the ground and have a comfortable seat and arm position.

I´ve been riding sport bikes since 1975 and always had the need for speed, now I need to touch the ground and have a comfortable seat and arm position. To be honest the HD always looked good and sound great but when I checked out the dealers I was shocked at the over the sticker price they were asking and the attitude when I drove in on a GSX1100.

I’ve done most of the typical changes like custom paint job chrome and drag pipes. Some people mention their dislike for the stock seat but that’s the only thing I haven’t changed. I’m 5.6 and 165 lbs everyone different.

This bike is heavy pushing it in and out of the garage but once you start driving it’s a Cadillac all the way.
The weight does offer good stability on the freeway and strong cross winds wont push you around the road . Leaning the Vulcan from side to side quickly throw the mountains will take a little practice but I’m sure you should be blowing buy all those posers in no time .

The bike has been faithful so far without any repairs, in 18k miles I’ve made 4 oil changes and had jetting done for each engine mod. After market pipes and K and N air filter is a must in the looks, sound and performance dept. gas mileage is ok around 32 street and 44 flat freeway at 70
