life with a BMW R 850 R | ||||||
Have owned this motorcycle now for nearly 3yrs had no major problems only a slow to activate neutral light.The bike handles great good fuel economy (55-60mpg) very reliable only downside bmw dealership sevicing is expensive (d.i.y).I have covered 10,000 miles since bought and would recommend michelin pilot 3 as the tyre of choice. The engine is very responsive and picks up well will beat most cars but is a little lacking in top speed (116mph),have also found it a little bit buzzy at 4000rpm but not enough to be uncomfortable. Overall i would recomend to anyone its not a sportbike but a great allrounder. |
