Bought 1999 model last year - it has Kuryakin hyper-charger and straight-through Shogun pipes.

Didn´t like it at first as handling seemed rather twitchy...but that seemed to have been due to new front tyre as is now much more stable. Very comfortable and have used for touring two--up. Pulls like a train and will cruise comfortably at 70mph. Carries luggage etc with ease and is easy to ride - just drop it into top and keep thumping along! Seems very reliable and looks great - hypercharger improves perfomance and looks good. Also have Triumph Thunderbird - VN is not as sporty and doesn´t handle as well...but still a great bike..and gets lots of attention here in UK! | |
