Why is this absolute beast so much underestemated?? | ||||||

I´ve seen too many people underestamating the power of the Honda CBR 1000 RR.The thing has enourmous amount of power and torque,but the most important thing that it is much more rideable than it´s rivals.The Unit-Pro Link suspension which allows you to open throttle earlier when exiting a corner is great.With it the shock is contained entirely within the swingarm.It is also positioned lower than the usual design.Both contribute for greater mass centralization. For me the the advantages of the cbr are these-RC 211 V suspension,Moto Gp technology and great rideability.The bike is more friendlier to the rider. As far for drag racing... I´ve seen races between cbr1000(didn´t know if it was stock) vs Hayabusa(didn´t know if it was stock either).The cbr was demolishing the Busa in the lower gears but in 9/10th of a mile races the Busa/zx12 would be getting the =Honda easily in 5th or 6th gear. And of course the bike has some disadvantages:It is not that highly tuned in stock version.I mean most of his rivals(like the ZX10R ninja) are hevavily armed even in stock trims(slipper clutch,more horses etc).But however the cbr has the most potential for tunning and building a superbike.I´ve seen modifications doing 200+rwhp on motor alone(with lots of cash and work thrown on the engine of course).Don´t forget that Chris Vermuelen made wonders on the Ten Kate Honda in Superbike. In conclusion I wanna say that when choosing a bike you must find the best for you and only you.The thing that suits your needs.The thing your heart wants.And don´t forget-it´s all about the rider! |
