I´ve been riding my new 05 Road Star Silverado for about a month. It has all the power I read about. Before I bought it, I did my homework. I got an A.

When I first started looking, my friends all poked me to look at HD Road Kings. I looked and was sticker shocked. I just don´t need to pay Dollars 25K for a bike. I then looked at other bikes in the same class. I test road several and finally decided on my 05 Silverado. It looks great and performs nicely. The only con I can find is it needs to be really warmed up before the Carb allows full response. I can live with this being from the Pacific Northwest. I eventually will replace the air filter system and pipes, but for now i´ve just added passenger floor boards. The wife loves them. I recommend this bike to anyone that wants the feel of a big bike but doesn´t want to pay the outrageous prices of its competitor. Thumbs up to Yamaha again! | |
