I´ll scream Ducati still ...!

I bought mine back in 2006 new; it has 97 miles on it and is currently for sale on eBay (seller: nickieee). I´ve since bought a MV Agusta 312RR and am still comparing the V-Twin versus the 4 cylinder. The Ducati 999R is hands down a beautiful bike. I would have to say more so than the MV, but not by far. It may be because the Ducati is built somewhat more ´sleeker´ than the MV or maybe because of its over the top styling especially when viewed in light of its headlight look and placement. In terms of motoring, like any V-Twin, there is tremendous torque and ´pull´ in the lower gears and then a nice clean pull right up through 6th gear! It is a beautifully balanced engine I might add too! Will the MV beat it on the track¿ Yes. Will the MV outshine the Ducati overall¿ No. Which would I rather have given a choice¿ The 999R by a long shot! | |
