I rode Honda Valkyrie from 1997 to 2006. I thought to myself then...What a bike...and it was. Then one day at the fair I saw the Stratoliner

I have been riding Street bikes since I can remember...from Honda to Yamaha all sizes and styles until I entered the ´Cruiser´ era. I did not want the same looking bike as everyone else nor did I want a ´Harley´ look-a-like, so I bought a Honda Valkyrie. This was a great bike...BUT...One day in 2006 I was wondering around the Fair grounds and saw for the first time the Yamaha Stratoliner...WOW! I had to have one, she was long and sleek..I convinced my wife I had to trade in the old Valk with 89000 miles. Not disappointed! Power, Style and Class, Not the ´V-Twin´ look-a-like. The ly thing I did not approve of was the seats, Thin and hard...not for long rides. I did a little research and found a company (Ultimate Seats) that made after market seats for her. Now long rides are nothing short of fantastic! I could not be more happy with the Stratoliner... Kudos to Yamaha for a Job Well Done!! | |
