An old 92 Katana with 50.000 miles still has it

I bought my Katana a month ago. I already did two trips of 800 Km. I´m very glad with this bike, my last one was an honda 250cc, so there is no way to campare it with this. It´s a great bike for road trips and taking into account that it has 50.000 miles it´s very reliable as the engine is oil/air cooled. This make it more simple and less things can go wrong than a water cooled one. It has plenty of power, but smooth. So, still I don´t have much to say. It´s heavy, kind of big, but confortable, you can load it for trips, enough power (a lot if you won´t compare it with a only race machine), in the road the consumption in road trips low speed (130 Km/h) is about 19 km/l and in city driving is about 12 km/l (a killer). I´m very glad with it, is what I expected from this bike. Big, but still can drive it in the hard traffic of the city, confortable for trips (don´t get it wrong, this is not a trail, is not the most confortable bike), very powerfull and head turning... grat bike! | |
