I´m 52, Biker from the day I was born almost. I had in my life many famous bikes but this one, i just love it ! | ||||||
I bought this bike because it was cheap, and because i could not afford better, so for about 2000 Dollars (1800 euros, it was in France) I got one that had really a low millage. I went to pick up the bike with my son, who was 13. As soon as the owner show the bike to us, we love it. Black, small, with just his big cylinder it look obviously as the very spirit of motorcycle resumed in a low and small but nice bike. When the key was turned and the engine started, the great pom pom pom decide me, this bike will be mine. I got on the bike and my son went with me, the saddle is really small but wowwww, the first meters, the engine is so smooth, and the transmission is like magic. I bough the bike and I ride in France, from the north to the south, I made a 600 miles tripe with my son, sure it was not the great confort but we had really a lot of fun. Reliable, cool, this bike is like a bicycle to drive, but a bicycle that push you strongly when you open wild ! I add a windshield, as without your arms get very quickly painful when driving on a highway. Once i drive 600 miles, alone, without resting. I had several bikes, some great ones, a 750 SF Laverda for 20 years, or the famous Triumph Thunderbird 900. Honestly i rather like my 650 savage, that never break or had any mecanic problems, and cost nothing = only the pleasure of driving and no stress at all (at the contrary of the Triumph). Now i move from France to america, i could not bring my savage with me and righ now my first idea is to get one here. |
