bought the v65 in 85 after my 83 CB1000 was totaled by a left turner totaled my left leg also. Loved the V65 power. Amazed a lot of drivers with the acceleration when passing. you are there and then you are gone!! Only problem ever was one ignition module and I got one for free from a guy whom totaled his to much power and no brains. Sold Magna in 1990 and missed it since. Just bousght a 84 V65 with 20,000 K´s off road since 97 am now restoring it as it was outside under a tarp. Can´t wait to get back on a Magna. Also sold the 83 to a friend tryed to buy it back this year, he won´t part with it likes it to much and has had no problems in 17 yrs hasn´t rode it in the last 2 yrs but still wants it Great bike |
