Great quality bike, go into the world. | ||
I have owned this type of enduro since my junior year in high school, I graduated in 1980. This bike and I have gone on many adventure together. I think I probably know this bike inside and out. Yamaha is a champ on designing this bike for it´s intended use , When riding around town the bike gets 80+ mpg dirt riding it gets around 68 mpg. Back in the day I use to give the local mxer´s a run for there money on the track and ride it home on the street. The electrics work great, I don´t think I ever had to replace a CDI unit on the thing. The engine has good tork and the chasy is lite. the oil injection is bullit proof, just put Yamalube in the tank and go! The crank takes standard 30 wt. non detergent oil. if you keep up on the maintianance on the bike it will serve you for years to come. this combo makes the bike easy to ride. |
