Driving a KTM 250 EXC and I turn crazy... | ||||||

I bought one and compared to the KTM 125 I had previously, there is a a world of difference. It is night and day even if the 125 remains an excellent bike. The engine is full of power even at low idle with this exhaust valve you can adjust to have a real cross engine or a 4 Stroke engine. Up to you... This makes that, even for the ´poor´ biker I am, you may compare to a champion! In terms of weight and suspension, the bike remains in an acceptable range. It is well balanced and permits many mistakes in any cases even during jumping. The suspensions (front and rear) can be adjusted for cross country or cross applications by simply turning a screw (KTM principle on all bikes). The cost remains quite high compared to others. 7000€ for a new one makes a huge budget. So, remains the choice to buy a second hand ant to pay it around 4500/5000€ for a one year bike. For the rest, reliability, parts cost, consumption ... and I can not say anything due to the fact I bought my bike recently. I can conclude, if you get somes money to spend, try one and you will buy it and ... turn CRAZY.... |
