Decent bike but, just hope nothing ever goes wrong. Poor parts availability zero support from Piaggio USA and poorly trained dealer service. | ||||||
Mine is a 2006 X9-500. No problems until October 2008. With about 5000 miles on the odometer my RH turn signal stopped working and the engine light came on. Into the dealer shop in Greenville SC from 10/3/08 to 11/18/08 charge Dollars 200+, rode it little until Jan 2009 when electrical problems resurfaced..back into the shop 1/13/09 till 4/15/09 with a charge of Dollars 716.00 including an entire day´s labor for changing a starter relay...dealer tells me that that was a deal because they have much more than that in trouble shooting labor. Several calls to Piaggio NY (212) 380-4400 EX4...only one person in customer service..´TJ´ never answers, returns calls rarely...no help from piaggio. My advice is buy a Honda Silverwing! |
