This bike is my 2nd Dragstar Classic. I had a 400 previously. Because it served me so well, The 1100 was grabbed the instant it was imported. | ||||||
This XVS 1100A Classic is a looker! Possessing more punch than my previous 400, I was totally in love with it - Until it came time for the oil filter change..sigh! When you have to remove the lower exhaust manifold just to access the obscured allen key, this to me is a design failure! Yamaha owes this to all those poor owner souls who were not told of this MAJOR design flaw. Other than the ridiculous tube tyres for a tourer, this bike rides extermely well. The comfort is sworn for by even Harley boys. The shaft drive - OH! so clean. I would not recommend this model to a friend with the bigger Midnight Rider version being available. |
