I used to own an metallic red GSX400F,purchased 2nd hand.IT was tricked out to the MAX apearance wise!,had all BEET RACING(rear spoiler, alfin side covers, cam covers, front fenders, point covers) engine wise:YOSHIMURA PIPES,polished intake and exhaust LOCKHART OILCOOLER. AS I remember,it was DOHC 16 valve!! (This was in Japan) IN your specs. it says OHC, WRONG INFO!!!(UNLESS IT WAS FOR EXPORT MODELS,which I DOUBT,but I maybe mistaken;then I´m sorry)Anyhows sold the sucker, purchased a brandspankin new IMPULSE!!(GSX400FS in Japan [first IMPULSE])Looks the same except ENGINE was BLACK, came with STOCK 4into2into1 BLACK EXHAUST,(made jointly with YOSHIMURA)STOCK OILCOOLER,4way ADJUSTABLE REAR SHOCKS,(control dial was mounted close to the fuel cock and side cover)front and rear rims painted GOLD.REAR BRAKES became DRUMS(got rid of the DISK BRAKES!!!STUPID IDEA if you ask ME!)ENGINE IMPROVEMENTS:3 HORSEPOWER more!¿!¿ THATS MY TAKE ON THINGS!
