I found this bike to be a complete track tool. | ||||||
Ive had 12 bikes in the last 10 years, Fireblades, ZX7R´s, A 996s Ducati, a couple of TL1000R´s and now a 98 Yamaha R1. I couldnt believe how light the R1 is in comparrsion to bikes of its age, a struggle to keep the front wheel down is habitual. It has the weight of a scooter and the 150 horses of power give it the speed of a missile. Im not into any of the modern fuel injected bikes, too expensive when you consider £2000 will get you almost the same result as £8000 bike these days. I feel a little seen off that i never bought one a couple of years ago instead of thrashing my TL1000R to within an inch of its life. |
