owned one for 3 months from brand new. Expect some of the issues to be resolved after first service. Great fun despite issues.

I bought this bike to go to work and back economically. This it does very well. However, acceleration isn´t great due to what appears to be poor gearing. I will replace the front sprocket (16 teeth) with an 18-tooth unit at the bikes first service in an attempt to improve top speed which is currently about 90kph. Clutch is ordinary. Often in gear when neutral light is on. Sometimes in neutral, but light is off. First gear is very short, which is great if you like to impress motorists with a short wheelstand from the traffic lights. The bike brakes well and handling is pretty good. Thin design looks cool, but handlebars are the same width as a normal bike, so car rear vision mirrors are still an obstacle when lane cutting. The bike’s looks are by far its best feature. I have a black one, but I expect the other colours look good as well. As I like naked bikes, I would buy this bike again, but I´m waiting for the first service to see if the problems I have covered get fixed. I would love an extra gear or two. Regular motorbike riders will be looking for fifth gear as you feel like forth is running out about 80kph. A rev counter and gear display would make a good upgrade. | |
