The SYM HD 200 represents excellent value for money and schmick city slicker styling. Forget the pricy european models and utilise the burgeoning scooter market coming out of Taiwan - giving the European and Japanese scoots a real run for their money.

The Sym HD 200 immediately stands out on the showroom floor as an elegant economical little beauty with large 16 inch wheels for handling and stability and enough power to get going around Sydney on an 8L fuel tank. Ideally, I would have loved a classic Vespa GTV or Piaggio MP3 but the purchase price and european servicing costs left me nervous. The Sym controls are easily accessible, seat height, overall design and functionality is simply brilliant - leaving other scooters looking either bulbous and twitchy with thick lawn mower style wheels or else overly stylized with hidden ignitions and a myriad of techno gizmos. | |
