When first sitting on a Virago you feel comfortable and safe.As a prowd owner of a ´94 XV250 i can assure you of that.It is a trully remarkable motorbike and not to mention one of the most affordable ones.

First of all the real weight of the bike is 139 kg,compared to the factory dry weight(137)which makes the 250 Virago a relativelly light cruiser for it category. It powered by the 250 Delta Tech Engine, providing you with 21HP.It might seem weak but the short gearing used in the old models makes up for it.It is very steady on straights as well on turns and has a very good braking capability. On the best things about the Virago is the it can be custom tuned till your hearts content.I upgraded mine from 250 to 365cc with no need to replace the headers and with no overheating issues. Finally the Virago 250 except for it´s beautifyll design and it´s decent road performance has an engine that lives forever! | |
