I have rode goldwings for the past 20 years, with over 150,000 miles under my belt.

The wing is the ultimate touring machine, the 1800 is not as good a build quality as the 1500,but makes up for it performance and power.Travelling with sports bikes across most of europe, and alot of spain,i always travelled at the rear of the pack, but was always the last person to want to stop riding.A few trips i rode through france and into spain with ease, covering 930miles in a day.Technology is always moving on and i just fancied a change ,so a bought the new kawasaki gtr 1400.No regrets here,i must admit it can do everything the wing can do,with better power and handling, which is safer if you want to nail the continental roads.Any way if you fancy one buy it,it has to be a hobby as well, but the social rewards are superb!! | |
