If you want a bike that will do cover the ground fast and in comfort and you don´t do trackdays this is what you could be needing. | ||||||
Massive torque from the dominant engine is the main event on this bike. stock suspension settings tend to be way too soft so experiment with hardening everything up to improve turn in and general handing. New Michelin pilot road tyres stick well and wear slower than Bridgestones. Don´t dismiss the red and black version as it looks a bit meaner than the white and blue in my opinion. Ditch the end can in favour of a ´race´ can for a good weight loss and an even deeper tone exhaust. All bikes have bad points somewhere - for the GSX 14 its mainly the finish if you are forced to ride with salt on the roads clean it as soon as you can or things will start to fur up. otherwise the finish is OK if not great. I have had mine for nearly 2 years now (11000 miles covered) and plan to keep it for as long as I can ride - hopefully 20 plus years yet! Guess i´m in lurve |
