I have always wanted a scooter, but the looks of the ones out there just didn´t do it for me...then I fell in love! | ||||||
| I am a 30 something mom, and I have wanted a scooter for years. Then one of my co-workers drove in on her Ruckus and it was love-at-first-sight! That was in June. Then, one night after I was done my shift, she met me outside and asked if I wanted to go for a ride. I had only driven 4-Wheelers...nothing of the 2-wheeled variety, so I was a bit nervous on how it would handle. It was sooooo easy to maneuver I didn´t want to get off. So of course I was hooked. The next week, my husband called a local Honda dealer to see if they had one...to our surprise they had just one left and it was the color I wanted...RED! We went up the next day and the rest, they say, is history. I have had it for two weeks now and I love it. Although my main reason is to save on gas next summer travelling back and forth to work (I live 12 kilometres from town), I find that I look for any excuse to take her for a trip to town any chance I get, while the weather is still warm. Myself and my friend have the only 2 in town, but they are causing quite a ´Ruckus´ wherever they go. I wouldn´t be surprised to see a couple more come on the scene within the next year. |
