I have just this week bought a Sachs Madass 125 in the yellow and it is great. I got a great deal on a demo model and it is nice to have a vehicle that has 350km on the clock. A few years ago I had an old Yamaha 250 and it was crap. The Sachs Madass is quiet, it sips at the fuel, which was the aim as each work day it was just me in a 4litre, 6cylinder Ford Falcon wagon. So, to have the chance to save on the insane fuel prices is a real treat. My wife thinks it is funny looking, but I love the look so much better than a toilet on wheels scooter, with step-throughs making them look real girly. The yellow is great and I love the minimalist design as I am a lover of naked motorbikes, so the Madass has that going for it too. The ride is smooth and not to spongy and not to hard. It sits well on the road and sits up nicely. One problem I have found is that I cannot position the mirrors correctly and see little of what is behind me so I stick to the lane I am in a lot and turn around when I need to for better vision. It is also one scooter which is tall and although I am not tall it makes it feel more like a bike. So all round it is a lot of fun and I hope to get a lot satisfaction and smiles from my Sachs Madass 125. |
