I have a Harley ´Road King´. It is socially accepable. You see it is not a ´Rice Burner´ as they say. I purchased a Honda Rune three months ago. My Harley friends like my new bike. My friends LOVE my new Rune! | ||||||

What looks like a custom bike but is made by brilliant engineers and not someone in the back of a garage??? The answer is the Honda Rune. The amazing thing about the Rune is that it has not been accepted by the Honda dealers! In two separate dealers, I was told the Rune was ´A lot of money for a bike´.´We have a Gold Wing for almost half the price!´ The Honda dealers don´t realize that when you finish ´Chromeing up´ a Road King, you´re talking 35 big ones (Less than a Rune which has six (6) cylinders). The Rune is a work of art and if they continue the development process, they could out cool Harley Davidson. What does the Rune need? 1) The Rune needs to be a two seater. In talking with Corbin, they have had terrific demand for their new dual seat called the Rumble Seat for the Rune. 2) The Rune needs some storage space. Not saddle bags, but a clever way to store your cell phone, wallet, soft hat and glasses. A two seated Rune would be a run away success. No pun intended! Don´t change the essence of the design, change the utility. Most of the purchasers of these bikes are middle aged men who love the outlaw look of the Rune and also appreciate the engineering and power of the design. However, they also have wives that want to be part of their riding experience. Solve that one for the boys and you have a winner! |
