Just sold it so I thought I should share my experience...

I bought the Sprint St as a replacement for a Suzuki V-Strom 650. as where i live there are not that many of them it was not possible to arrange a test drive, and i bought it in good faith. When i first saw it I was slightly scared. It was very different to anything i had ridden to now. I am quite an inexperienced rider, i confess. Anyway the triumph treated me well. I bought it in October 2006, and enjoyed it through the winter. The brakes are excellent, the power plenty and smooth. As I got the hang of it it just got better and better. I found the riding position much more comfortable than it looks. However it became somewhat tiring on long hauls. I often do 350-400 miles in order to go to concerts. Also I found it a bit tiring to my wrists when doing short trips to town in traffic etc. This bike belongs on the highway. It will put a smile on your face. Really I had only one complaint. I live in a warm country (Greece) and the bike gets very hot in the summer. No way can you ride in shorts, and with the exhaust running up under the seat, it was a very warm ride both for me and my passenger. Reasons for selling it¿ I think it was a more of a case of me not being suited to the bike than anything else. I shall remember it fondly. Except for the hot bits!!!... Hope this helps...
